Today was a marvelous day. School was great, I did some drawings I liked, I went to Tim Horton's for an Iced Capp, and then I got to see my friends WIN their last swim meet!
School was quite magnificent. For some reason I was happy, and able to joke around with everyone. I was productive in my art class, and had fun in my resource periods. Then, I was highly entertained, taking photos at tim hortons and doodling the doughnut case. Then I had to much fun walking back to school for the meet and then got to watch my first swim meet.
While at the swim meet, I took roughly 3 hundred photographs of the meet. The only problem was, it was so dark at the pool with the fast enough shutter, that I had to crank up my ISO setting. (I'm saving for a 14mega pixel camera) So, very few of the photos are getting posted online (on any sites other than facebook), but still, twas quite the experience. I really love photographing sporting events and activities that require a lot of movement. Plus, I LOVE photographing the movement of water.

Come Out And Play With Me
So, Monday I spent my day running around a playground and some stores with some of my kick ass friends. Only 3 could hang, but school starts in 2 days, so I will get to see them ALL in no time. I didn't take as many shots as I usually do, but below you can see the photo of the day, and links to the rest of the photos I posted on deviantart.

And below is the group picture, and then a few fun shots I uploaded to photobucket.

In a Solitary Style
Sunday, Taylor was giving herself a dark sort of make-up and I was digging through my closet. We wound up with three outfits for her to wear, and packed them up. Then we trecked to a cemetary by my old school, and began shooting. It was a bit windier and colder than I had thought earlier that day, but she trudged through anyway. After we shot at the cemetary, we stopped for a snack and went back to the school, to play on the playground and in the grass. I'm not done going through them all, but here are the ones that I've posted so far.
Happy Labor Day. Today was pretty awesome, for I hung with some awesome people, and got some great shots. I'll post a blog with them and the 'deets' later.

August is Over
So, a few things to talk about. There is band camp, school, projects I'm working on, moving (or not), and some ladies you should check out.
First, band camp kicks ass. I love it, marching and playing, messing around with friends and messing with freshman's heads. We're doing a medley of "tommy" by the Who, and it really is fantastic. I march with the Bari sax though, and thebari bra harness isn't the most flattering comfortable thing to wear. But still, I'm having a blast, as I always do. We went bowling, which is a tradition, and I had loads of fun, and did some gesture drawings of bowlers, which was oddly amusing. Yay!
I'm now a SENIOR! I am SO excited! I love school, learning about things I never thought I'd understand, and getting better at writing and math. But, alas, I detest the social aspect of it all. I'm hopin' now that we're all seniors, we will get along better.
So, I have like, 4-6 paintings in the works, I guess? But a large part of me wants to paint over them and start over. Story of my life, really. I haven't had time to paint recently, with band and lessons and hanging with Taylor. But, I've been taking a lot of pictures (none that I like, but still.) and have drawn up a storm. I need to do a new sketch dump, and soon introduce you to Salazar! Gosh, I love sketchbooks.
Speaking of Taylor, she isn't moving! Which is wonderful. We haven't any classes together, but she's staying 10 minutes from my house, on foot. We can still have sleepovers and go to biglots. We can paint and sing, and goof around at 10 at night. Can you say Huzzah?
Oh, and I thought I'd share a blog that I follow every once in a while. You know, my favorites that I think you should check out. First, you should check out I still can't tell which ones are weeds. It's written by an art teacher/letterpress printer. She seems to dig a lot of things I do, art wise, so I think you should check her out.
Then, stop on by Dancing Tales, and read what comes from the mind of my favorite ginger. She's a very good friend of mine, and I think you'll like the way she thinks.
So, I'm going through the extra shots I took at the state fair, and it is taking ages. I'm talking about the more candid shots I took. But, I found one that I really like. You may see more later, but if not, here is one of the most adorable photos I took at the fair:

Baby Bunnies!
So, Taylor has baby bunnies in her backyard. I took quite a few photos of them, and sketched a few bunny head shots today and yesterday. Photos belooooowwwwww^^ (Ha! Tired and unhappy Sarah doesn't relate to the drama messing with her head! I win.) So yeah, I'm tired from band camp. You can see all the photos I took here (which include one of Taylor and one of her dog), and my three favorites are below :D I'll try to post the drawings later.

Inspiration, Friends, School and Assistance Wanted
My ideas and inspiration come from different places. Life, music, the internet, movies, television, and the people I meet to name some of said places. Some times I jump into whatever I'm doing, feeling totally uninspired and drained of creativity. When that happens, one of three things may happen. A)I end up kicking ass, B)I end up a terrible hot mess or C)I end up having fun while creating a terrible hot mess. Sometimes I wonder if there is a better way? You know, a way to find inspiration without causing chaos, without any disappointment of your work not turning out how you hoped.
I fear that I may have lost two friends by the end of the summer. But, when I say lost, I mean they will still be my friends, but, we will rarely ever speak or see each other. I will admit, I am not taking it well, being almost completely ruled by my emotions. I've told this to one of the two, the one who is moving, otherwise known as Taylor, and she smacks me. I don't think she gets it totally. I watched her move from her old school to mine, and I saw how much she talked to her old friends. She's moving again, and I get to be an old friend, I'm afraid I'll lose one of my closest friends. Then again, there is a difference between her other old friends and I; My mum would drive me to the ends of the earth to make me happy. I'm sure hers would as well, but still. My mum is awesome. Taylor also hates how I doubt I will see our mutual friend as well. I wish she could see it from my perspective, to understand why I feel how I feel when with both of them, and where my doubts come from. I don't want to lose him, as a friend or more if I can muster up a facade of sanity, but we've never hung out the two of us, and I doubt he really wants too. (I'll stop now, I could go on and on about how I feel third-wheelish, but I won't. Just know, I feel it quite frequently, in many different groups of people.)
School begins next month, my last year as a high schooler. I am excited and petrified at the same time. My work load is larger than it was my junior year, and most doubt my ability to keep up with it and succeed, but still. I have to, if I want to get into the school I want to get into the school I want to get in to. Yeah, I'm going to get in, so this year I will kick ass.
Last thing before I sign off, and post one of the last photos I took of Taylor by herself (Long shutter speed, flash and glowin' stuff). It may possibly sound as though I care for nothing of what I attempt to create, and only care for "popularity," if you could call it that. But, I don't really care. Comments make my day. It's one thing to see who sees what via stats on blogger draft. It's another to hear you like what I've posted, or have a suggestion for me to make it better. I'm done being awkward in my quest to ask for your input.

Cha-Cha-Changes
Let's just say I was tired of the long-ass blog name. And I've begun to feel as though my life is static, unmoving and never evolving. So, new name to the blog, and I'm working on a banner of some sort. I like it better, and this way I wont spell the url wrong, which I've done on many occasions.
I've many paintings in the works, but I keep getting distracted, right when I plan on working on them. It's frustrating, as is finding yourself liking someone. You know they can't like you back, and you try to stop liking them, but then they show how smart or witty they are, and you're stuck even more. If anything, it makes me feel lonely, which I detest. So, I'm left trying to portray the loneliness and then the anger I feel for myself because I feel lonely. It doesn't turn out well.
On a happier note, I've had my sketchbook Lotus for almost a month now, and he's about half-full. I took a bit of a break from drawing every day, but as of last night, he and I are re-acquainted, and the few bits of world history I remember have been illustrated. I also found this site, Illustration Fridays, and am glad to say I think I will start partaking. It is always easier when someone comes up with the idea for me. Some times, I just can't think in a coherent enough manner, even for myself. The ideas get jumbled up and start wrestling each other, trying to get to the top of the pile. That just makes them harder to sort through.
I'm quite discouraged in my attempts to hold an art show. Venues don't like short-term renting, no one is willing to help me out. I'd do a solo show, but I lack the confidence in my own work, and the patients and work ethic to produce that much art.
I think I'll go draw a bit, maybe even write a bit. I'm not quite sure. Have a good day, oh and check out the picture at the end of the post. I light painted with taylor and Matt the other day, and this was one of my favorite shots.

I Have To Paint Outside
Why, you may ask? Well, tis because when I paint, I get into it. Very into it. And well, I make a mess.... Oops. At least Taylor was there to capture it on camera.
So yeah, have a good night. I need to try and be productive, and read what Ginger #1 sent me to read. I'm just tired and have to do things for father. -_-

Fun Adventures are Fun
I would assume that if you're reading this entry, you've partaken in my spazzy art before. BUT, I would not assume you also know that I'm a fan of photography. While waiting for phonecalls to be returned, yesterday and today, my friend Taylor and I decided to talk a walk toward unused train tracks and take photographs. Today we also had our sexy ginger friend Matt come with us. It really was fun, watching the trains, watching Taylor physically abuse someone other than myself, and seeing Matt build a snail house. I've some pictures to post at the end of this entry.
But, we've to count attempts Taylor made first. (She really is a great best friend.)
So, he parked at my house, and walked to meet taylor (#1) and then made our way to the tracks. We walked all the way down to the first bridge, snapping shots and cracking pervish jokes. Then, when we made our way to the bridge, photos were taken, rocks broken, and graphitti admired.
We walked to the second bridge, and sat under it on the tracks, as Matt built a stone house for snails, joking about someone's heart being an empty shell that would one day be filled. (Was he talking of me or Taylor, for I don't know.) Then Taylor dissappeared (#2), leaving Matt and I, until he decided to attempt to scare her. It didn't work.
After more talking, trains, photos and walking, Taylor sent Matt and I far down the tracks (#3) and called me to say, that she wanted a picture of us 'caring' for each other or being 'affectionate.' I, of course, couldn't actually admit that, so we turn around and he posed as though he was a super hero. Walking back to my house, we stopped in a field with many rocks and I photographed Matt jumping over rocks, kicking in a ninja sort of fashion.
Oh, and then I stepped on a Nail. I'm proud of myself for not just asking him to carry me, though at one point a piggy-back ride occured. My parents are annoyed that I didn't call them. Oops.
So, did you pay attention? Yes, she made three attempts to leave me and Matt alone together. It was awkward, but still, I appreciate her attempts. Really though, if he likes me as I do him, he'd tell me. So, I fear her attempts are in vain.
So, back to the art, far from rambling. Below are some pictures I took yesterday and today. You can see even more of my photography here. Tis my photography account on Deviantart. I'm also going to upload a few to flickr as well. I'll let you know when that happens.
