October's Almost Over

But first, we've Halloween, some photos taken on a borrowed 10mp camera, and some last minute planning for NaNoWriMo.
Today was definatly the best in-school Halloween I've partaken in. I was part of a Trio, and we were the Powerpuff girls. I got to be bubbles and looking at the photos others took, for some reason I don't think I look to-terribly hideous in the dress I wore. I felt terrible in it, being to tight and short, but I lived. Also, I got to take photos of our Senior Halloween breakfast, for the yearbook. My teacher's camera is beautiful, and I want it so bad. Just saying.
It doesn't help (or does it?) that I was able to take the camera home Thursday night, so I didn't need to stop in an art room before the breakfast. So, I ended up running around our yard, snapping a hundred or so photos. It's a 10MP canon rebel, with a normal lense and a zoom lense; I used both lenses. You get to see the photos below, click on the different photos, to view the deviantart or flickr page, with more info on the shots.

And, NaNoWriMo starts on Monday! I've been planning and plotting up a storm. My Main Character has a name, Bryony Elizabeth George, and I've plenty of ideas for events stringing others together. I get all excited when thinking about it. Though, you can't tell, since the writing blog contains a lot of random spazzing to go with the planning. But still, twill be awesome. Just sayin'.

Maybe It's Not My Weekday, but It's Gonna Be My Year

No matter how hard I try and focus on getting used to school, I still find myself distracted. No worries though, I'm confident that from now on, all the distractions will be semi-productive. Arty Farty, mostly. Pictures and drawing and painting and whatnot. I find it quite excellent to do such things on a daily basis.
So, I'm in two art classes at the moment, and incredibly glad I'm in the one I'm in, last period of the day. It's to get me ready for college, and build my portfolio. It's currently nothing, so this class is pretty much a blessing. I'm going to major in Music education, but I want to double minor in Art & English.
Let us continue on rambling, by mentioning Cameras, and my way to a new digital. Without a job, getting there is taking ages, but I'm hoping to get a job. Plus, I'm going to get a commision tab up on the blog in the very near future. Let's just say, I keep getting tempted by B-E-A-U-tiful 35mm cameras. My restraint is shrinking.
I've plenty of ideas to go off, thanks to people watching. I enjoy sitting down in the supermarket and drawing the passers by. I've been drawing so much in the past week and a half, I didn't realize how much I missed drawing constantly. Yay.
I probably sound quite mental, rambling on in a text form, but I cannot help it. Oh, and can I ask if there is anything you'd want to see from me, anything at all? Maybe I can get an idea from what you like.
Saturday I shot at my Aunt's horse show. I took 1100 photos, and I'm going through them all. Expect a post about that soon. You get to see on of the photos I've already posted below.
OH! And I got a dozen wolverine comics.

With love,
Sarah

For Once, it Pays to be Mental.

For, I can easily get myself to think I'm happy. It just takes some music, quotes, photos and inspiration to get my spirits up. And, who knows? Maybe I'll make something out of it? All I know is, lots of things make me happy, and I'm using that (and the interwebs) to my advantage. So yeah, enjoy this explosion of, erm, stuff?

With love,
Sarah

"Pessimism is, in brief, playing the sure game. You cannot lose at it; you may gain. It is the only view of life in which you can never be disappointed. Having reckoned what to do in the worst possible circumstances, when better arise, as they may, life becomes child's play. "
